The benefits of this location mean there is no need to sit in a crowded waiting area, or explain to a receptionist why you need physical therapy treatment.
Physical therapy employs various techniques to help individuals regain their ability to function effectively, whether it be due to injuries, the natural aging process, illness, or even birth defects.
On the contrary, wellness focuses on enhancing and preserving physical fitness and mobility, without specifically addressing or rectifying any medical conditions.
If you're asking yourself, "Where can I find the best pelvic floor therapist near me?" you can stopo looking!
No! You are always in control of what happens during your sessions.
If you are uncomfortable with an internal examination, we can gain a lot of information by at least visually inspecting the perineum (the area between the vagina or scrotum & the anus), and watching the perineum move.
If you are uncomfortable with getting undressed, similar information can also be gained by feeling the perineum over clothing.
If you are uncomfortable with any touch to your pelvic area, we can actually figure out a lot just by having a detailed conversation about your symptoms!
